On 17th of June RWE had the opportunity to participate in the Sopot Science Picnic “Ocean of Changes” 2023 organized by the Institute of Oceanology of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Sopot Scientific Society.

Spreading knowledge about the marine environment and its protection through fun activities is the key to attracting young generations to care more about sustainability. The Science Picnic "Ocean of Changes" pushed the boundries and showed that creative games and workshops can effectively encourage the youngest to expand their knowledge.

At RWE’s scientific stand, thanks to interactive materials, children had the opportunity to gain a boost their knowledge about renewable energy sources. With an aid of micro-scale PV and wind turbine, we answered questions about how sun rays can power toys and appliances and how it happens that a small gust of wind causes a light bulb to shine in our homes.
