2. Purposes of data processing and legal basis
Your contact details and information about the business entity represented by you will be processed for the following purposes:
1) to manage a data base of local suppliers of materials and services necessary in the construction and operation of an offshore wind farm – because the processing is necessary for us to pursue our legitimate interest (Article (1)(f) GDPR), which is to maintain business relationships and to be able to enter into contracts with selected suppliers;
2) to send information newsletter, including marketing information concerning the development of RWE Group’s activities in the field of offshore wind energy, in particular in order to develop a supply chain tailored to your business profile, information about conferences or other thematic events- because the processing is necessary for us to pursue our legitimate interest (Article (1)(f) GDPR), which is to inform you about controller’s activities in connection with your consent to receive a newsletter (Article (1)(a) GDPR);
3. Categories of data recipients
The recipients of your personal data may be entities in the following categories:
- companies that are members of the RWE group;
- providers of the following services: IT and new technology services, telephone or e-mail services.
4. Data retention period
Your personal data will be processed for different periods depending on the purpose:
- keeping a data base of local suppliers of materials and services necessary in the construction and operation of an offshore wind farm – until the time of terminating the construction and exploitation of the offshore wind farm or until you lodge a objection;
- sending information newsletter, including marketing information- for the duration of the service, but no longer until you withdraw your consent or lodge an objection.
5. Your rights
With regard to the processing of personal data, you have the right to access to your personal data, to their rectification (correcting, supplementing), to the restriction of their processing or to their erasure; to portability of the personal data you have provided to us.
You have the right to withdraw consent at any time to the processing of your personal data on the basis of consent.
You have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for the purpose of pursuing our legitimate interests.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority competent for personal data protection if you consider that the processing of your personal data violates the GDPR.
