The offshore windfarm project F.E.W. Baltic II is located in the Polish part of the Baltic sea on an area of 41 km² at water depths of 30-50 meters and a distance of around 55 km to shore. It is developed by a mixed team of experts from Poland and Germany.
F.E.W. Baltic II project will generate supply chain benefits, plus associated direct and indirect jobs and contracts. By working collaboratively with competitive Polish suppliers, our aim is to ensure that the Polish share of F.E.W. Baltic II meets expectations for local consignment throughout the lifetime of the wind farm. Once constructed F.E.W. Baltic II will supply 350,000 households with sustainable renewable energy.
Our ambition in Poland mirrors our aims for the rest of the world: we want to safely develop, build, and operate cost-competitive, commercial-scale projects. To achieve this, we are benefiting from many years of experience building large scale offshore wind farms, and are always striving to build on our passion for innovation with a strong focus on supply chain engagement and technology development. We are working closely together with Polish companies and the wider industry to support the development of a strong local supply chain.
